Moderation Policy

What we do not allow

• Abuse or threats

  Abuse, harassment or threats aimed at anyone, including the person a greeting is for.

  Someone’s life or safety is at risk

• Sexual content

  Sexual content of any kind. Anything that may involve a minor is our first priority.

  This involves a minor

• Impersonation or deception

  Signing a greeting as someone else, or otherwise misleading people about who really sent it.

• Illegal content

  Anything that breaks the law, even where it fits none of the other sections.

• Something else

  Anything else that goes against this policy or what the site is for.

Automated screening

Before a greeting, a thank-you reply, invitation text or your name appears on the site, an automated system built on a language model reads it. If it finds a problem, the text is not published, and we say which rule it breaks.

An uploaded photo or avatar is checked by an automated system before anyone can see it. A photo attached to a greeting is shown only once that check has answered.

If a check cannot answer for any reason, we publish or show nothing until it does.

Reports and human review

Anyone can tell us about content they believe is illegal or breaks this policy, on our Contact & notices page.

A person — a Reviewer appointed by the site’s operator, never an automated system — decides every report.

Reported content usually stays visible until the Reviewer decides, for up to 7 days.

When a report flags that a minor may be involved or that someone’s life or safety is threatened, we disable the content at once and decide within 24 hours. If we do not remove it, it is restored. The Reviewer may also move any other report onto this faster path.

If you disagree with a decision

Reply to the decision, or write to notices@gp.viktorost.dev, and the Reviewer will look again. You can also always go to court.
