About Greeting Place
Greeting Place gathers the holiday greetings of the people who matter to you in one place, and keeps them sealed until the day they are meant for.
The idea
Holiday greetings arrive scattered and early: a message here, a card there, most of it read before the day. Greeting Place gives each person one tree for the season and keeps every word on it sealed until its holiday comes, so opening them becomes part of the celebration.
What we promise
Only the words are sealed
Anyone can watch a tree fill with decorations, and its owner can see who greeted them. What was written stays sealed until the holiday’s reveal time, for everyone but the person who wrote it.
No messages to strangers
We never contact someone who hasn’t signed up. A tree started for someone reaches them only through a person they know.
Giving, not ranking
Awards celebrate what you give. Nobody’s greetings are counted against anyone else’s, and there are no leaderboards.
A tree that stays
Once its owner claims a tree, it stays online for at least ten years, and at the end of the season it becomes a keepsake.
